The Knickerbocker Collectible Toy Company is proud to introduce an officially licensed collector set of Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy. In celebration of their 75th anniversary of Knickerbocker Toy Company, they are once again creating Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy in their original Knickbocker form, so that a brand new generation of enthusiasts and collectors can enjoy these beautiful dolls and treasured pieces of Americana. Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy were first produced by Knickerbocker in 1962. At that time, the most significant change was the color of the yarn hair from orange to a rich autumn red. The Knickerbocker Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy have been painstakingly recreated by award-winning doll artist, Linda Henry. The nostalgic pair have delicately hand-painted bisque porcelain "Pancake" faces and sculpted cloth bodies. Vintage gingham and calico fabrics, red and white striped legs and black shoes are classic details of the original costumes. In keeping with tradition, both have autumn red hair and I LOVE YOU message printed over heart. This is a collectors edition and supplies are limited.
